Code of Ethics and Rules of Conduct Course

Satisfy the CFP Board's 2-hour ethics CE requirement

The CFP Board Code of Ethics & Rules of Conduct course is for those individuals who have already obtained their CFP® certification. The final exam is 40 multiple choice and true/false questions and Dalton Education will report the CE hours to the CFP® Board on the student's behalf.

On March 29, 2018, the CFP Board announced that its Board of Directors unanimously approved a new Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct (“Code and Standards”), which sets forth the ethical standards for CFP® professionals. The new Code and Standards replaces the CFP Board’s current Code of Ethics, Rules of Conduct and Financial Planning Practice Standards, effective October 1, 2019. In accordance with the CFP Board requirements, we will be releasing new curriculum covering the new Code and Standards September 28, 2018. As a result of the new curriculum release, you will need to have your CE Ethics course completed no later than September 27, 2018 as our current CE Ethics program will expire on September 27, 2018.
